Adrian is the Controller at Clarus Capital, where he leads accounting and financial operations. With over 15 years of experience across startups and public companies, Adrian brings a multidisciplinary approach to finance, accounting, and investment operations. His experience spans both asset management and corporate finance, and he leverages this dual perspective to support Clarus’ continued growth and contribute to the firm’s leadership in the equipment finance space.

Before Clarus, Adrian served as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Hometap, a Boston-based fintech offering homeowners a novel way to access their home equity without taking on debt. Adrian was the first finance employee, joining pre-revenue, and oversaw the growth of the finance function to support the organization as it grew to over 300 employees and deployed $2+ billion over seven years.

Adrian holds both a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from Babson College, and is a CFA charterholder. He lives on the North Shore of Boston with his wife and three children, and is an avid sailor.

Adrian started his career in fund accounting and administration at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) working on 40 Act funds, and at Kaufman Rossin Fund Services (KRFS, subsequently acquired by ALPS/DST) working on hedge and private equity fund clients.

Prior to Hometap, Adrian held positions as Vice President of Operations at Envestnet and Director of Operations at AlphaHedge Capital Partners, where he did model overlay trading and exercised discretionary control over client assets, individually.
