Shawn brings more than 30 years of experience sourcing and structuring equipment financings for large corporate and middle market clients across the United States. Prior to joining Clarus Capital, he was Director of Sales at CIT Capital Equipment Finance, where he was responsible for new business development opportunities while overseeing a key midwestern territory.
His previous roles include significant contributions to the equipment finance groups at Huntington Bank for over 18 years, where he assisted in the formation of the equipment finance group, and Transamerica, as well as the commercial banking groups at PNC and US Bank.
Shawn conducts his professional and personal life with the unwavering core values of honesty, integrity and strength of character. His knowledge, sophistication and commitment to delivering thoughtful financing solutions aligns seamlessly with Clarus’ vision of fostering enduring relationships with clients in capex intensive industries.
His passion as a continuous learner has driven his track record as a top tier producing equipment finance specialist, especially in the areas of communication, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Away from work, Shawn is committed to his faith and family, actively involved at his church and pursuing his passions for the outdoors and fitness. Shawn and his wife, Amanda, have two amazing sons, and live in Columbus, Ohio.
