Carol joins the Clarus Capital team as a Managing Director and head of Investment Operations & Enabling Services following an eleven-year engagement beginning at NewStar’s equipment leasing division which was then successfully sold to Radius Bank. Carol worked closely with Steve O’Leary and the rest of the team, becoming an invaluable member of the platform.
At Clarus, Carol is responsible for leading the businesses loan and lease documentation platform and enabling the overall investment process. She is tasked with managing upfront negotiations, transaction closings, system onboarding, sales tax reporting and lien perfection throughout the lease/loan life cycle. Carol works diligently to ensure that our clients have a seamless experience transacting with the firm.
Carol has had significant experience in building several start-up finance companies, implementing systems, creating documentation libraries and developing policies and procedures for audit purposes. She has also developed many relationships with clients and funding partners throughout the U.S., an integral part of the overall business initiative at Clarus Capital.
When not keeping the Clarus team on their toes, in her spare time Carol enjoys spending her weekends on Cape Cod with family and friends.
